HB50° now has a heavier two inch rump rail and frame. The top rump-rail is deported (offset) closer to the operator pit than the lower kick rail to give excellent cow positioning, safety and udder access - it also enables the cow to stand comfortable without pressure on her sensitive pin or tail area. Optional choices included feed mangers, a heavier beam frame, individual splash guard on the rump rail, front exit or heavier duty conventional exit modules for bigger parlours.
This parlour prioritises smooth traffic, flexibility and comfort. Moveable breast rails ensure smooth loading and gently position the cow close to the milker for optimal udder visibility and access. Wide cow passages allow rapid exit when the milking is over.
The herringbone parlours make milking easier and allow for easy reach and an ideal view of the udder.

New Options
-The front exit option for maximum overall throughput is ideal in a new wider building. This option reduces the longer exit time in a bigger parlour and can dramatically improve total parlour throughput
-Modules for heavier duty loose-house milking. The new DeLaval HB50° HD modules are designed for premium strength and reliability in bigger parlours milking 6 to 12 hours per day. A heavy 2” staggered rump rail is welded together with a 2.5” straight kick rail. The rump/kick rail is supported by a heavy beam frame. A heavier duty entry gate and breast rail gives optimal durability in even the biggest parlours
-HB Flex for highest throughput in limited space. When renovating old parlours, the existing cow platform is sometimes too narrow for a DeLaval HB50° stall. The new HB Flex option allows you to choose the cow angle and spacing, to fit the maximum number of cows on to the existing cow platform.
