Engineered to exceed the most demanding British and European requirements – including relevant aspects of The Control of Pollution (Oil Storage) (England) Regulations 2001, The Water Environment (Oil Storage) (Scotland) Regulations 2006, British Standard BS5410, Pollution Prevention Guidelines PPG2 and comparable requirements throughout the United Kingdom.

Easy to use, Harlequin Fuel Stations have always offered safe, secure and convenient diesel refuelling. And now with the availability of a factory fitted, fuel management system on all 240v Harlequin 5000FS and 10000FS models they allow you to take control of your fuel too.

NOTE:
All Harlequin Bunded Fuel Stations must be connected and maintained by a qualified electrician, in accordance with statutory requirements. Harlequin Bunded Fuel Stations are suitable only for the storage and dispensing of diesel fuel with a maximum bio element of 5%.

OFTEC & BS 5410 require a level base which is 300mm greater than the maximum tank dimensions on all sides of the tank – this base should have a 30 minute fire rating (eg 100mm thick concrete)

Take Control Of Your Fuel With Our Fuel Management System


Every fuel management system is manufactured to the highest standards, to an approved specification.

How It Works
For complete security, each operator is supplied with a magnetic key. Before filling their vehicle, they use their key to activate the fuel management system. In the absence of a magnetic key, it is not possible to dispense fuel from the tank. This dramatically reduces the risk of unauthorised use and fuel theft.

Ten keys are supplied with each system and further keys are available upon request and at additional cost. A total of 80 keys to support 80 individual users can be activated for use with each system.

Once activated, the user selects how much fuel they wish to dispense. In the event that a user inadvertently selects to dispense too much fuel, the automatic nozzle fitted to the system will discontinue filling long before an over-fill occurs. Once filling stops, the system reverts back to secure mode and can only be activated again with a magnetic key.

The system incorporates a memory which can store data from the last 200 deliveries.

The system is also supplied complete with PC based software (for use on Microsoft® Windows enabled PC’s with an operating system of Windows 98 or higher), permitting data to be transmitted via a hard wired connection to almost any PC up to 0.8km away. Irrespective of how the data is exported, it can be analysed quickly and easily using the supplied software.

Important Information Regarding Deliveries

Whilst the vast majority of Direct To Site Deliveries on behalf of online customers pass without incident, of late there have been a few incidents, which have resulted in difficulties either for delivery personnel or for end-users.

• All deliveries are kerbside.
• A tractor unit and an articulated 45’ trailer must be able to have unhindered access to and from the site.
• The approach to the site must be able to accommodate a tractor unit and articulated trailer of standard height.
• The approach to the site must be free of low branches, overhead powerlines and any other aerial obstructions.
• It is the customer’s provision to arrange for the provision of adequate offloading facilities. Our standard vehicles do not incorporate tail lifts and we do not use vehicles with hi-abs.
• A driver may at his / her discretion assist with the offloading of a product – however this is at their individual discretion and cannot be guaranteed.

In summary, where the above conditions cannot be met, we cannot accept the order. Above all else, where a driver believes that proceeding with a delivery is unsafe, they have the right to abandon the delivery. We will be fully supportive of any driver in such an instance and a failed delivery / restocking charge will apply – equivalent to 30% of invoice value.
