Typical Pump Station Application
The Filpumps range of package pumping stations provides an efficient and economical way of installing a sewage or drainage pumping station where drains are below sewer level. The are available on short lead times to fit in with tight construction schedules.
Pump chambers are well engineered and manufactured in strong impact resistant polyethylene, and standard units can be adapted to suit individual requirements at the manufacturing stage. The smooth internal walls aid the hygienic disposal of effluents and the avoidance of smells and septicity.
The package come complete with the equipments pre-assembled in the polyethylene chamber, ready for installation into the ground, after which the pumps and control equipment are fitted. All package pumping stations are supplied with controls for fully automatic operation, and with a high level alarm. A comprehensive instruction manual is included to ensure that the package becomes operational.
Installation and commissioning is the responsibility of the main contractor but this can be supervised by Filpumps if required.
A wide range of submersible pumps can be used for the package pumping station, including the Grinder series of high head macerator pumps for difficult applications.
