Filpumps Kinross Supports Milnathort in Bloom
Helping a local community keep growing
Filpumps Kinross was recently contacted by Milnathort in Bloom, a small local gardening charity dedicated to keeping Milnathort a pleasant, colourful and welcoming place to live.
The group, which is run by volunteers and operates without regular funding, works hard throughout the year to maintain flower displays and planting across the village. Like many community groups, they rely on practical support, goodwill and careful use of resources to keep things going.
Their enquiry to Filpumps was a simple one. They were looking for advice on where they could buy a replacement lid for an old water tank used on the back of their buggy.
After speaking with the team, it became clear that the existing tank had seen better days. It was old, perished and no longer ideal for the important job it was doing. Rather than simply pointing them in the right direction, the Filpumps Kinross team decided to help in a more practical way by gifting Milnathort in Bloom a new water tank.
The new tank will help the volunteers continue watering flower displays across the village, making their work easier and supporting the effort they put into keeping Milnathort looking its best.
